AND BOARDING
Club Canine is now offering overnight
boarding in addition to daycare...

Let your dog play all day on HIS
vacation while you enjoy yours!
Please remember that all dogs over
6 months of age must be spayed or neutered!
General Information:
1. Dogs will eat and sleep in one of our spacious new kennels, and
then join in daycare every day while they're here.  We consider
playtime an important part of caring for your dog while you're
away, so we would never charge extra for it!
(Please note that we are not able to accommodate dogs
who are aggressive towards other dogs or humans.)

2. W
e require that your dog has come for at least one day
of daycare prior to boarding with us.
This ensures that
your dog will do well in this kind of environment, and will
also help your dog adjust better.  By coming for a day
of daycare, your dog will not be nearly as stressed
when he comes for his boarding, since he'll remember that
Club Canine is where he had so much fun before!  We've found
the best way to keep our guests healthy and happy is to have
dogs attend a day or two of daycare prior to boarding with us.

3. Club Canine has a professionally monitored security and fire
system, as well as video surveillance that allows Kera to see AND
HEAR what's happening at Club Canine at all times from her home.

4. On weekends, staff will arrive at 7 am to feed the dogs and
let them out to play (and potty) for a few hours.  Staff will
return throughout the day to allow dogs to play and potty, and
dogs aren't returned to their kennels for the night until 9 pm.
We strive to keep your dog on a schedule similar to what he's
used to.  We wouldn't keep our own dogs contained for
12 hours, and we won't do it to yours!

Pricing:

5. We require that dogs be here for a full day of daycare on the
first day of their boarding stay, in order to ensure that they'll be
tired enough to settle down in the evening and get to sleep easily.

6. The charge for overnight boarding is $40 per night.
(This includes the required day of daycare at $25 and the
overnight charge of $15.)  The charge for additional dogs
in the same family is $30. (This includes the required day
of daycare at $15 and the overnight charge of $15.)

7. The charge for overnight boarding for
regular daycare clients
(5 or more days of daycare prior to the boarding visit) is
$36 per night (additional dogs in the same family are $26)

8. Remember that these rates are even lower if you use your
daycare package!
(A half-day from the package will be used for each overnight.)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times:

9. On weekdays, dogs MUST be dropped off on the day of
your departure
before 10 am.  (Later arrivals cause disruptions
in our daycare routine, plus dogs need to have time to get tired
enough to settle down and get to sleep easily at bedtime!)

10. Dogs may be picked up on
weekdays before 10 am with no
charge for daycare on the day of pick-up.  Dogs remaining at Club
Canine after 10 am will be charged for that day of daycare.

11. On Saturdays and Sundays, drop-offs and
pick-ups will be available BY ADVANCE APPOINTMENT
ONLY, and only between the hours of 8 and 9 am, or
between 2 and 3 pm.
 (Phones are not answered on
the weekends, and doors remain locked, so drop-off
and pick-up arrangements MUST be made by 6 pm
on Friday evening - no exceptions!)

12. No drop-offs or pick-ups will be available on holidays.

Reservations, Deposits & Cancellations:

13. For our first time customers, a 50% deposit is due at the
time you make your dog's reservation for boarding during
regular non-holiday or non-peak periods.

14. You may change or cancel your dog's reservation up to 3 days
in advance for a complete deposit refund.  Deposits are
non-refundable within 3 days of your scheduled check-in date.

15. We require full payment in advance to hold a holiday or
peak period boarding reservation.
This payment is non-refundable
within 14 days of your scheduled check-in date,
so please be
sure of your dates when booking your reservations!

16. We require a minimum 3 nights stay during holidays and
peak periods such as Fall break and Spring break.

What to Bring:

17. At the time of check-in for boarding, you will be asked for
details regarding your dog's feeding instructions and medications.
(We will administer medications at no additional charge.)

18. You may bring your dog's own food, or we can feed him IAMS
during his stay.
If you bring your dog's own food, it must be in
individually portioned baggies that are EACH clearly marked with
your dog's name and which meal each bag is for.

19. Club Canine provides a sealed 1/2 inch thick rubber floor in
each kennel, plus sheepskin bedding.  We also provide a giant
Nylabone for your dog to chew on.
For safety reasons, please do
not bring any toys, bedding, or other items from home.
  (In our
"open" environment, we don't want to risk any arguments because
many dogs will "resource guard" their own special stuff from home,
plus remember that most dogs will be so exhausted from playing all
day that all they'll do while in their kennels is sleep!)

This is also required
because when a human
sleeps at Club Canine (which
is quite often), the dogs are
allowed to sleep loose around
the office areas - or even
on Kera's recliner! :-)
